The Asian Elephant Specialist Group (AsESG) receives no coreĀ funding from IUCN or the Species Survival Commission and is solely dependent on our own ability to raise funds to support the conservation of Asian Elephant.

By supporting the Asian Elephant Specialist Group, you enable assessing and monitoring the status of wild and captive populations, analysing the threats to wild populations, providing conservation recommendations and initiate conservation actions involving relevant stakeholders and convening expertise needed for conserving Asian elephants.

Your support of the Asian Elephant Specialist Group helps direct funding where it is needed most to save the endangered Asian elephant.

If you are able to provide support or identify potential sourcesĀ of funding, please contact us
